What Survival Knives Are Ya Wantin or Waitin On ?

anyone looking for condor hudson bays or waiting on any?

....well, i wasn't until i opened this dang thread! HAR!

i held the Hudson at the last SHOT SHOW, and i love them.

i have a really bad jonesing for a custom bowie knife that i can't shake.

Fallknivens usually make me weak in the kness for stock knives.

Fiddlebacks and Swensons cover the rest of the bases, with a few others here, for customs.

I guess I should have posted earlier when I was still waiting on it but I wanted to wait and take pics of my own. This is the one I've been waiting on for a few days, a Fallkniven A-1. I made a trade for it but it came to me directly from Knives Ship Free, and I have to say the service was great. They were quick to respond to my email when I had a question and it arrived in 4 days including a Sunday. I haven't had the chance to do much with it since it got here this afternoon but so far I'm thinking this thing is pretty d@mn sweet! I already have some cool ideas for the sheath. To be a 0.24" (6mm) thick blade it slices really well and has a great edge.

Mistwalker, you're going to love that FK. I have one (uncoated) in the zytel sheath. Extremely well made unit. I love the thermorun handle. Not as soft as kraton, but good for wet(or dry) hands. And the steel ! Man, I tell ya, wicked. I had to get the main three,(F1,S1,and A1.) My favorite though, is the S1.

I'm not waiting on any ones right now, but saving for one;an RC-3. Not sure wether to get the 3 mil,or the Tan one yet. Undecided about the pommel, whether to get the pointed or rounded. Both have their advantages.

Thanks, I'm really digging the A-1 so far. It looks and feels exremely well made. I love the edge grind! I'm already wanting an F-1, I was torn between the two to start with but the A-1 fills a void for me.

I love my 3MIL, though I haven't had occasion to use the pommel I do like the black bolts vs the shiny stainless bolts of my tan RC-4.

I'm wanting/waiting on a Custom Bowie that I've been talking to Mark Wohlwend about for the last few days

I think I might be getting a Spyderco TasmanSalt Hawkbill for Fathersday to:D
Another knife I've been wanting is - ESEE/RC-5 & the Condor Hudsonbay

I should be getting these two from Mark Wohlwend some time next week. I'm adding the handle scales myself with some of the same Wenge that I used on the W&SS passaround knife project.

I am waiting for a BK9, now. Should order it in the near future. As well as couple of customs.

Glad to see this thread bumped every so often. Most of us get more then one knife a year ;)

Big Mike

Love that smaller knife, also the choice of handle material:thumbup:

I'm not waiting on any blades at present but am waiting on some birch bark spacers so that's sorta knife related:rolleyes:
