None of this offends me, but it is strange-When people tell you their life's story in the ad, but not tell you the info you really need like specs and other vital info
The "life story" is an attempt at a sales pitch. The "unexpected; car repair, medical bill, or alien abduction story are unnecessary. The person is addicted to buying, selling, and trading knives. We get it, even if they (or you) don't. No one is trapped in their remote cabin and needs 100+ knives to baton some wood, skin their dinner, and clean out beneath their fingernails.
