What to do when someone rejects ur shipped package...

Damn, sorry to hear that the knife is missing. Like knife hunter mentioned, I too have heard of this happening recently. Hopefully there won't be scrap metal in the box when you get it back... :grumpy:
 
Not really my business to point out specifics as to who this individual is, but to any prospective sellers out there who would wish to avoid this person until things are worked out, I would suggest looking at the bottom of page 2 (at the time of this post) in the Busse marketplace, and look for usmc0621's thread.

Just a clue.

I think the first question is of huge importance; prior to the buyer being labeled a scammer.
USMC can you provide some more details on that and what exactly the buyer said?
Also, make sure you save your PO recepit - the weight could be a key for you.
Was it insured?
If the buyer did take possesion, then later returned to PO saying it was empty - then scammer may be a good possibility.
 
I find it quite weird that this guy asked me for an invoice too. Stated that he gets invoice's for all his purchases. I've been in contact with him and he claims that the package was damage and nothing was in the envelope

If someone claims that, I would request pictures be taken to prove it.
 
I just find it strange. How does usps attempt to deliver an
Empty package? Clearly if it was damaged, wouldn't usps do, something. Hell if I was delivering it I'd bring it up.to my supervisor so I wouldn't be accused of opening the package

Either way I hate pointing fingers. I like to assume people on BF are good people. I'm still giving this guy the benefit of the doubt. Poop happens.
