What to trade a Sebenza for?

I have owned a Sebenza for a couple months and have carried very few other knives since I got it. I know it sounds weird, but I think I want to trade it because I don't carry the rest of my knives. The Sebenza is really the exact knife I was looking for, but after getting one, I realized that I just need a knife to cut stuff not something as perfectly put together as the Sebenza is. My question is now that I have decent trading fodder, what are my options? I think the knife is valued somewhere around $290. What should I be looking at as far as Striders, customs, etc.?

Get a Bradley Alias. A lot cheaper but only a bit less perfect.

Already got on of those, and I love it. It is not made nearly as well as the Sebenza, but in some ways it is designed better (in some ways it is better but overall it is worth its pricetag as much as a Sebenza is worth its own pricetag).

I agree if it works for you you would be foolish tompart with it. If you want something else get a CRK Umnum. I've had my Ummy for 3 months and haven't carried a Seb since.:thumbup::p

Any of the Fallkniven offerings. Top notch knives at mid point pricing. You get the quality, but no need to worry about putting them to use.

You can put a great knife in your pocket, and some cash for another knife.:D

Depending on the size you like consider the PXL for a large folder, the P/3G for a medium folder, and the FH9 or TK3 series for a smaller folder.

If you want something classy, a little showy, and sheeple friendly to boot, look at the FH9 and TK3 in MOP.

it won't hit you till your packaging it up and getting it ready to ship her off to its new home/owner! Save the regret and keep it.

You're within range of Strider PT, more of a beater knife than a Sebenza. Get it so you can understand the whole Sebenza vs Strider debate.:D

Sounds like you should sell the rest of your knives and keep the Sebenza.

Here is another vote to sell off all the others if the Sebbie takes up all your time.:D

But keep in mind that after some time passes, you might miss those other knives. If you are not feenin for a new knife or don't need the money, I would not trade/sell any of them unless you simply do not like them for one reason or another.

Sell a knife that you think is good because you are not using your lesser knives. I think you should sell all your knives and use the money to seek professional psychiatric help.

So, you found your "Grail Knife" and now you don't find yourself worthy of it's greatness. You don't want to subject it to the petty daily exercises you subject your other, lesser knives to. You are not the first person this has happened to, and I can help.
You've got to let it go, set it free. I will give you an address, and you will mail the Sebenza to that address. If it comes back, you were meant to have it. If it doesn't, it was never meant to be. ;)

Seriously though, put it on the trade forum and see what you get offered for it. You don't have to let it go, but for a Sebenza you will probably get many offers worth trading for.

Strider PT CC is a good idea if you're looking for a trade.

If it's in the $290 range you could get a Millie + cash, SnG with cash on your end, or something like that. You're probably not going to be looking at many custom folders.

About the only thing I would trade my Sebenza for, is another Sebenza. What kind are you thinking of trading?
