Gosh here's a couple that are well within that range... If you can give more info on size range and what/how many blades you like would help narrow it down.

Case large Stockman #6375 and a Victorinox Pioneer. The Pioneer is 3.5" closed and the Stockman is 4.25" closed.

Or at the small-sized end of the pocket knife spectrum is the Peanut about 2.75" closed

My other pocket knives are a bit over your $60 limit. There are many choices though from Case, Buck, etc.

Unless you get lucky on an auction site, sixty bucks isn't going to get you much here down under. :(

Rather!
I'm getting a Case sowbelly stockman as soon as my accordion check arrives.

Should have enough left over for a cup of Joe from Starbucks, plus the tip for the barista.

If you don't have a SAK Pioneer then I cannot recomend one highly enough, most useful knife I've ever owned. Cadet is a good slimmer option.

For a more traditional knife, the Case Sowbelly in CV would be high on my list, always liked that pattern and been eyeing it again recently.

In that price range I'd look at the Queen Workhorse series. There's also a Queen City rosewood copperhead that looks nice and is selling for right around $60.

What about 2 knives? I might go with a Case sowbelly in chestnut CV paired with an Opinel.

If you have to stay under $60, then I would go for the case cv small sodbuster. image.jpg

If you can spend a little more, I would go for the queen canoe. It's around $65 and is a great knife!image.jpg

I'd pick up a yellow derlin Peanut and a Vic Farmer. There's nothing you can't do with those two.
