Gorgeous knife, Mike. 🤠

Now Cal, you KNOW that 'our' Buck 118 is already in my hunting pack, along with two old style skinners I have obtained since last deer season. I will use my favorite Buck 118 and will also try to work in this old school Kabar 1233 Skinner and this modern take, a 1980 Case 223-5 Skinner that has Delrin handles. One thing is for sure, unless I find myself in the woods with nothing but a pocketknife, I won't be using a pocketknife to clean and butcher a deer! OH

Nice arsenal of fixed blades.
The elderly farmer I used to work for used to have a deer camp in Wisconsin. He has a Schrade 8OT that dressed out all of his deer. The blades have been sharpened down to slivers.o_O

Better keep an eye on that whittler, or might be tempted to swipe that shield.😗

I bought a 294 jack from that same anniversary series that’s missing the shield. I don’t know what that shape of shield is called, but it kind of looks like a mortar projectile.

Carried my Case Stockman into the woods today. Man, it getting dark too early already.
Great scales on your stockman:thumbsup:
Is that a game cam? At first I thought Jason Voorhees upgraded his hockey mask.
Speaking of short daylight, now I have to wait for the sun to take an outdoors knife shot.

It’s Apple time! We got the #93 helping us out tonight
I’m going to see if Manny will eat apples. I cook up chicken breast to mix in his food and try to mix in some veggies too. As long as the vegetables are mixed with meat or a little fat, he’ll eat them.
Nice old Russel! The bone is spectacular.

Carried these yesterday for Thifty Thursday, (less than 25 bucks combined!)but got busy and didn't take a pic. So I figured I'd carry them over for Black Friday 🤠👍
Yes! It’s in the Porch COC ( code of conduct). One must not switch knives without first photographing them for this thread! At least I think it is. I follow that rule just to be safe.

How you like the KUDU Light?
I only carry a wallet in back pocket. The KUDU/KUDU Light are a wee bit long for front pocket carry ... no sheath I have fits, so I only carry mine in the sleeve knife pocket of my insulated overalls.

A whittler with a crisp blade etch and sorta fancy pinched bolsters. :)

Carrying my Taylor Schrade Hammer Brand 4 blade Gunboat Canoe Whittler this week. It's been a few months since I've carried it.

It will be joined by a couple BTI Schrade Old Timers.
A 858OT "Lumberjack" stockman, and a venerable 25OT two blade slipjoint Folding Hunter.
