Thank you, Tom. You are right on as usual!. It's an Ulster Knife Co. Harness Jack and old as the hills as far as I can tell. I wonder if Charlie has any input on it, Charlie?

Not much light left this evening.

Nice one! I keep old Ulsters when I find them!
Older Ulsters were high quality knives, made with pride by Dwight Devine and family.
They refused to compromise, and even made good knives while losing money! Finally sold out to Albert Baer during WWII (ca. 1941), so he could use their capacity for the war effort.

Thank you, Charlie! I really appreciate all your input and adore the old beauties you posted in the Ulster thread!! This one is heavy and very solid. It still has great walk and talk after all these years. I only wish i could narrow down the manufacture date. Oh and...its my first Harness Jack!!!

Today while I was at work the Böker Tree Brand Barlow was with me.

In about two hours, I gonna go to my mum to celebrate her 59th B-day - the BladeForumKnife 2011 will be with me there.

And leaving to Munich tomorrow, I gonna carry my #66 Serpentine Jack.

Thanks Duane :) I got it from a trade with Duncan and Wayne (Peruna1998) It´s a great knife, I think.

Thanks for your wishes - I´m pretty sure, I gonna have some fun (and some good bavarian beer and a nice meal :D )
