Out of my humble 9 GEC's I think my favourite is the Ram Foot. It is such a great looker and has a blade that excels in every day tasks with the very practical shape.

Ferric chloride and water solution (about 50/50). Taped up the handle well. Sanded the blade with 600 grit sandpaper and cleaned it well. Submerged for 5 min and then cleaned with water and baking soda rub to neutralize the acid. Repeated the submersion for another minute to get it a bit darker. Rinse, soda rub, clean, oil the joints, bone the edge, good to go!
