Today im doing this little Case sodbuster jr. I’m still learning how to fully appreciate the synthetic covers though, since i would normally only go with bone, stag or wood. But so far i quite like it.

"Synthetic" covers a lot of ground. Micarta, G10, carbon fiber, various types of plastic. I find Case's plastic handles, be it yellow, red, or black (or probably any other color I haven't tried), to very pleasing in use and feel. I'll be interested to see if you bond with it

Well after my adventure of slip and a sliding to work they canceled a few routes last minute.They said I might not of made it out since it was deeper into snow country. I said Thank you and grabbed my gear and went home.
Then got home and went into my toy box of knives lol

Some one say snow ?
It arrived a little late a day after Christmas lol although just in time to make my drive to work a little more challenging and I’m sure my Big Rig at work when I get out there
We’ve got a few more inches over night since these pictures and a few layers of ice.

Love the snow Ed, but I don’t want any part of the ice.

I'm probably the only one, but I saw the Boker and slip and thought "that sure looks like Todd's knife and slip, but there is no way this is Todd as I've never seen THAT background before"...and then I remembered you were traveling...

Be careful... Once you catch it it sort of catches you back. I let two of them (Cattleman & Norfolk) go a couple years ago and still miss them. Have to settle with the three I have now

Yes much safer we’re im at no doubt and much more comfortable lol. Yes the ice can be pretty tricky and in OREGON it happens a lot with snow and Black ice underneath

Had to touchup the bolsters with a scotchbrite pad, the pocket rubs and high polish weren't playing well together. Excellent little knife.
