how do some of you keep the blades looking so nice?

I asked that exact same question several years ago.
I was told that people use their knives and recycle their pictures... although I'm not sure how accurate that is.
My guess is that there isn't as much need for pocket knives these days, and if you don't use them on food i can see them staying pristine for a good long time.

It was made for me.

I’ve been really slammed with something the past two and a half days, like a nasty flu. Blood O2 level around 90%, total body ache, etc. So my doc’s Nurse Practioner is going to call me around 11:40. Pretty sure she’ll order another test, but I’m trying to figure out how to work that joke in!

Back from town. Rode down to Likely, CA a very small town about 20-miles south of Alturas and drove back to Alturas on what we call the Dump Road because it goes by our dump and then out to the stock yards after our in town chores were done. All in all about 70-miles. Burned right at 4.3 gallons of gas and contributed a bit to Californian's air polution. Nothing like thumbing my nose at the California Air Resource Board for a little satisfaction. I've switched over to the Remington for the rest of the day and this evening.

JohnDF , it's our lucky day! I just happened to see a couple of 77 Washington Jacks up on the other knife site for a cool thirteen-hundo a piece. I don't usually allow myself get ruffled by the after-market pricing, but dang. That costs more than, say, last year's BF knife on the Bay!

The pen is what I focused on right away
Looks very nice with that Deep Red color.

The 82 stock is a favorite of mine. I have one just like yours. The joints are super smooth and consistent pulls throughout. I absolutely love it.
