Really like your Schrade-Wostenholm canoe with all the documentation that you picked up a while back, Jim!!
Thanks for the testimonial about your Boker Plus Atlas, Jack.![]()
I didn't buy knives last year Gary, the copper-handled Atlas seemed Covid-appropriateI have several Boker Plus knives with drop-point blades, got a slight hollow-grind, and come razor sharp

Thanks pal, I'm having the same cinnamon & raisin bagels for breakfast tomorrow![]()

Jeff, I sometimes do something (not always sure what) that causes the structural integrity of my quoted headers to get scrambled, but I can usually "recover" using the "undo" icon (counterclockwise arrow) at the top of the Reply window. I also use the "Toggle BB code" icon (square brackets [ ] at top of window) quite often to switch everything to plain text, instead of the pretty quotes format; far fewer editing surprises for me with the plain text format, and "cut" and "paste" seem more to my liking there, although I have to toggle back to see images. I also occasionally use the Preview mode at the top right of window to see what the current reply will actually look like when posted; can also click on attachments in Preview mode to see what the picture actually is.5K Qs ~
Thank you!
It looks like you’ve found your multiquoting mojo with the new year!
I have to limit mine, because typing a mistake and deleting it causes the quoted headers to jumble up.
Maybe you could offer multiquoting tutoring. And maybe you could get photochopping (manufacturing evidence is what I call it) lessons from B BrotherJim !
Sounds like a grand slam home run!!Thanks Gary. It checks a lot of boxes for me: only stag, only sowbelly, only Queen, etc, and was a thoughtful gift from John.
Thanks for the additional info! They’re actually sunset shots sirIdk about Merle but I might object to making it to the beach for a sunrise shot, especially with the early morning 405 traffic
I believe that halo in the pic is the reflection of my iPhone lens
Maybe in days of yore all the local pregnant women would come to the creek to birth their babies!!I was wondering about the name 'Hard Labor Creek,' too. By the time I finished hiking, I had forgotten I was wondering about it, though.
According to the blurb on the trail map, the site's purpose was to "demonstrate the reclamation of marginal farmland for recreation." There's no mention of incarceration, hard or otherwise. Seems white-washed to me; I'll have to look it up!
A year ago, I taught just one course and most of my students were on campus, even though we met online 3 out of the 4 class days each week because I was scared of the surge in COVID case numbers as the semester started. But I had 4 international students (2 in Korea, 2 in Thailand) who watched recordings of the classes asynchronously, and I met with that quartet once each week to answer any questions they had, discuss coming attractions, etc. That weekly meeting was at 5am Wednesday (6am after the time change in Michigan - I was surprised that neither Thailand nor S Korea had a time change). They took their 3 tests and the final exam at that time, too.Yep. I've been teaching online this entire academic year, and one of my classes is a small group of international students to whom I teach pre-algebra from 9:00 - 10:15 p.m. my time (they are actually 13 hours ahead during this phase of the time change; 12 when we go back to sane time).
Carrying 18-20 knives each day should keep my prep status at top level!Looks like you're prepared for just about everything there Gary!![]()

I like that plain old sheepsfoot friction folder very much. I traded away my original one last spring, I think, but ordered a replacement within a few months when I made my next knife order. How do you like that MAM?
I almost stuck mine in my pocket today, but decided to carry my yellow Rough Rider loom fixer/"half hawk" instead.
Great pictures Bart, I miss those days of playing in the snow with my kids. Nice memories.Playing in the snow today and carrying my Alox SAK.

Sounds good Jeff hope you feel well enough to do that soon. I’ve never been much of an ice fisherman. I’m not a good enough caster with my fly rod to hit those small holes in the ice with any regularity.Me too. I just may get out the auger and drill some holes in the ice on the pond when I shake off this bug.
Wow, you’re killing it with your pictures John, another great one.
Well done Mark. Making memories is what it’s all about. On a hunting trip with some old friends this weekend in Alabama. Shot a buck Friday night while carrying this fine Case punch stockman which was a gift frompaulhilborn . Already making memories with my new knife. Thanks Paul!

Go Bucs... Good luck to your team today.
Nice pairing, Todd. We will be hoping for a good outcome for the Bucs today as well.Game day. My daughter is staying to watch the game with us before she heads back to school. My son said he is going to watch this week’s game with some buddies at school, and said he would come home and watch next week’s Bucs game with us.Hopefully that isn’t the “kiss I’d death.”
GO BUCS!View attachment 1722259
