Brother J….
Those long————pulls :D:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

HA !!! ... Perfect for a multi-blade knife :)
Back in the day, Case was said to have introduced the long established Congress into their line-up for the Southern market
There were even some of this pattern released and marketed as a tobacco knife
THIS is a knife pattern I think my great grandfather could have / would have carried. Who knows
Interestingly, Abraham Lincoln had a 6-blade Congress in his pocket that fateful night at Ford's Theater

Have you considered a sheet of 1/16 inch brass or Nickel Silver/German Silver, or Abalone or MOP/Black Lip Pearl?
If your budget can stand the hit, maybe a local jeweler has a suitable size piece of Sterling Silver or 14 to 24c gold to let you make a shield?

Is that 61 or 62?

Is that a 61 or 62?

WiFi was down yesterday and until about an hour ago.
Carrying a 5160 bladed Buck 110, 2018 Buck 301 Forum knife, Böker Magnum Scout/Camp knife, SAK Signature, and the Toferner again/still this week.View attachment 1729226

I’ll be keep’n my eyes wide for some ‘o that alright… it’s not easy pick’ns that’s fo’shur Jim :thumbsup::thumbsup:

GOOD LUCK !!! ... While searching for this pattern, I found some examples of the white bone Congress with green verdigris beginning to appear in the bone from the brass pins and liners after all these years
This knife came to me from Indiana and that may have helped. We'll see how it goes what with the high humidity here in the Deep South
And I got lucky with fit and finish. No blade rub and it's put together as well as any Case knife I own. No blade wobble and plenty of snap
Just blessed all 'round with this one. Going to be an absolute joy to carry and use

Despite the age difference, those two go together really well JJ :cool: Love that old CJ Barlow :) :thumbsup:
Thank you very much, Jack!!! It's pretty much my favorite Barlow. :) :thumbsup:
Have a good day everyone :thumbsup:

Awesome photographs of your two tote beauties; a Double Barlow Day comes in right behind a Double Lambsfoot Day as another great day! 😁 :cool: :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

You're such a punny guy, Todd.

Thank you, my friend. :)

I love the fire in that bone. 🤠:thumbsup:
Thanks John, it amazing for sure. 😊👍
That's awesome, Todd. Some great USCG gear and it looks like that IRJ went from one great guy to another.

Speaking of great guys (John), got this lamb out with my normal Wednesday barlow today.
