Beautiful. I’m really drawn to this pattern of jack knife, and this is a not-so-common example.New York Knife Company Hammer Brand relic in my pocket today. The pen is barely used and the main has lost a lot of steel from sharpening, but, it still has an appealing look to my eye. It sharpens up like a razor with minimal effort and still has good snap and half stops. Pretty good for a knife that has been around a hundred years or more. Someone carried this one a lot, revealed by the blade wear and the smoothness of the pocket worn bone jigging.

Thank you, Jim.Love the green on that one, John.
Say Paul, since Rob has my NYKC Collection, I need that TC Barlow.Nice Rob, I have a similar Schrade Cut Co but with long Spey for the secondary. The Main (like yours) is quite worn down but has an appealing look as well![]()

Thank you! It is desert ironwood. It was originally the red burlap micarta, but I bought a small block of nice ironwood and hadWhat is the wood type on the Northwoods ? - sure is a looker and has a nice patina as well !!![]()
Thanks Tyson, your Forum Knife is looking pretty darn good thereAt least all of you post good pictures of your usual knives! I carry the same knife most of the time, and I'm a crappy photographer, so I tend to just post when I change up my carry.
In the spirit of that, I switched out my usual 97 for the BF21 knife today:
