What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

It's been a while since anyone posted a photo of one of the Snakewood models from my 2019 Damascus SFO run :(
I was too cheap that year. And who knew how soon the darkness would descend?

I thought grinding the guard nub back on mine would make it go into the sheath easier. It may have made a slight difference, but now I know the steel is very hard.

Thank you, Jack. :)

You too, my friend. :)

To market... to market... 😄
There was no fat cake to be had unfortunately! 😢 😁

I was as surprised as anyone Jer :( Even dogs know that you don't bite the hand that feeds you, but then they are a species known for their loyalty

I don't have a problem with the nub, either visually, or in terms of the fit of the sheath (tight at first, but fine now)

Though I knew a guy whose dog had to be killed because it tried to bite the face off the hand that fed it. Pretty rare, I'm sure.
That happened to a young woman who worked at my local pharmacy, she was devastated :(
Going to be pocketing this new Boker Swell End today as well...
Congratulations John, that's a nice one  Going to look nice with your Lambsfoot

The FEDEX guy showed up last night and dropped off this knife. Pretty nice. I'll carry it today on our trek to the Brass Rail, the Holiday Market, the 4-Corners Market and maybe a short trip out to the stock yards just for a look-see. Think we'll also go out to the Chimney Rock gas station on the Indian Reservation to fill up the truck and fill up three 5-gallon gas cans. The gas there is $1.50 a gallon cheaper than off the Reservation. It's only 5-miles out of town so it saves us quite a bit. If the prices keep going up, I'll have to put our 50-gallon gas drum into play.
