What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I guess I’m observing Fiscally Frugal Friday.
These were both fished out of the bay, for not much more than the mailing charge. The Camco had the stock plastic which had shrunken and pulled away from the bolsters, so it got buffalo horn from the dog chew aisle. The Schrade came in a pair of single blade 194s. One had a broken blade, the other a broken spring. My first experience with a Swinden keyA36B143C-5BFA-404C-A9B9-0FD09CFB0541.jpeg04906F6E-1995-41A7-8221-CF194A553C54.jpegCE1CB6D1-4520-4765-879E-20BBEF8BCC36.jpeg
Fantastic Friday all.

It was close to 70 degrees here today! I was totin’ Junior here this morning doing some spring yard work.
At 32f, it was too cold to do yardwork. But I did take a trash bag and pick up a bunch of trash blown out of the neighbors garbage cans into the ditch and creek during the winter:rolleyes:
Gee. What do you suppose is going to happen when you put your cans out with no lids on a day with gale force wind?
Love that pic Mr P

Thank you very much Todd :)

Thanks buddy, I had a good day :)

Verdant choice John :)

That's a nice one Jeff :)

Many thanks for the kind words my friend :)

Gorgeous PAL JJ :) I don't recall seeing your handsome Burnt Chimney Barlow before  :)

Have a good Friday folks :)

Old Camillus rope knife today

Cool knife!
It’s got more steel left than mine, too!

I went to Lexington via Pleasant Hill last morning and met some old friends for breakfast. I ordered the stuffed French Toast, which made me think of you know who. 🤫 It was delightful, stuffed with warm cream cheese, topped with whipped cream and powdered sugar, strawberries and blueberries, drizzled with warm maple syrup, and dusted with cinnamon. Just had to get a picture of it for you know who, after I had a few bites, of course ! 😇

So today I will tote an old Jack for Mr. You Know Who, with a little something extra for him. Have a good day everyone and be careful out there ! 😉 :

Thanks! I haven’t eaten yet.🥲
Tell me about the sweet Serpentine Jack!

Edit to add: Primble, every once in awhile, we put on our camo and sneak across the border into Wisconsin. There’s a joint in Twin Lakes that makes Cinnamin Roll French Toast. A HUGE cinnamin roll. I usially get that and a “side” of hash browns which cover a full sized plate. Mrs Fkeschwund rolls her eyes.

They’re great neighbors mostly, so I’d never complain. We share plants and garden stuff, and I can get chicken and duck eggs anytime. The most “interesting” thing is their guinea hens. They’re louder than my guitar amps!

Böker trapper today.
As I took this pic, a pair of bluebirds were harassing a squirrel until he ran off.
I love it when squirrels get harassed!
I do too! I’d love to see a hawk help out here.
Last year I got excited to see a bluebird at my feeder, and sent a brag photo to Mom. Bluebirds are rare here.
She informed me that it was not a Bluebird, but an Indigo Bunting, which are more common.
Wow~ that’s pretty.
