Visiting my wife’s family in Iowa. Brought my new lamb with me for the trip. Yes that is snow in the background
Hope your new lamb is treating you well Mark. It looks great.
I switched to these two this afternoon, and continuing this evening...
Those two look great together, John.

Great combination John. Was this your first switch of the day?
It actually was, I find it hard to take the Lloyd out of my pocket.
But I saw the BFF and had to carry it, and thought it paired well with the SBJ.
Then I was done grilling, and switched back to the Lloyd to cut my steak at dinner.
Great combination John
Thank you, Todd. :)

Thank you, Jeremy. :)

Cool knife Bart, love that sheepsfoot. I wasn’t familiar with Layne & Bowler, a quick Google search turned up water pumps. I guess that’s an old water pump?
Thanks, Todd. The 25s are cool little knives. Yes, it came off of an old abandoned ag pump. It is actually the lid to the oil reservoir. Here is the rest of it:

I though it was kinda cool so I brought it home and hung it on my fence.

Old industrial stuff just looks cool. Thanks for taking the time to show it. 😎👍

Extremely traditional

Doesn't the ULU date back to at least 5,000 years ago?
I though I saw something a couple years ago about one made of Jade that allegedly was dated to over 10,000 years old, but I can't find anything about it now. No idea how they dated a stone knife found alone in permafrost ...
Either way, it is probably the oldest pattern in continuous production? 🤔

Today (or should I say yesterday) I intentionally carried my Forum knife only.

Every now and then, I see negative chatter on the internet in different social platforms about Bladeforums. As a person who engages with all of the platforms I can confidently say Bladeforums isn’t much different than any others. Perhaps it’s a little more intimate depending on how you look at it.

If you focus on the positives and ignore and don’t stress the negatives you’ll keep the hobby that you enjoy worthwhile. Just my ✌🏼 Cents

I think that's much early than mere 10,000
Some says it may be over a Million ...
But I'm not a Believer

Carbon dating is used, of course it may be tricky
For sure not a stainless steel :^D
