Thanks! I wish it was the real deal. It's a Lake/PaulChen - CAS Iberia collaboration from 2002. It's a beautiful knife though, and I'm happy to have it.That lake folder is really something!

I made the cover of the paper back home from yesterday’s trip to spring training. Thank @bigfish64 for grabbing me a copy! It is very much appreciated Todd!
Nice serpentine Jacks !Honestly, how old were you when you went to Sears and bought that knife ?

I used to have one, but I gave it to a guy I used to be stationed with. He’s an Electrician’s Mate so I thought it was fittingHey, I’m a hopeless TL-29 advocate
It was a very good plan. Too bad i didn't need a knife today.Sounds like a nice plan John
Gorgeous pair of arrowheads, Todd.
That's a great way to start the new hobby... beautiful.
Nice story and I can think back to that time and now wish I had picked up more of the now hard to find knives.Hey~ I’m thinking of Serpentine Sunday... plan accordingly, my friend.
I started working at Sears paint and hardware in high school after getting my driver’s license, so I must have been 16 or so. So I guess I bought it about 49 years ago.
Then, the Sears in Champaign/Urbana was hiring when I got down there, so I worked there all through college. That’s where I bought my first Serpentine Jack, a Schrade 293Y trapper.
I doubt I’ll ever forget opening boxes and boxes from Schrade, and putting those little tubes on the shelves.
Too bad I had to pay for my room and board, but then, I had two good ones and a fishing knife, so who knew they wouldn’t still be there later?
It's a super handy design, thanks a lot, Jack!!!Thank you kindly my friend, that's a very handsome pair you have thereThe Farmer is one of my most-carried SAKs
