Been absent most of the week due to an incident at work that injured two co-workers, one unfortunately lost his life. Came down to Palm Springs with my daughter on a planned trip yesterday.
Sorry to hear about this. Hopefully the vacation helps

Very cool, hope you all had a great time Jon. 😎

That’s awful, sorry to hear that, hope you have a relaxing time. 🙏

Can’t wait to do some yard work, great choice Jeremy. 😎👍

An owl is always a good pick Mark, looks great. 🦉👍

That’s a great looking fixed blade, looks like you worked up an appetite at the beach.
😎👍
Thanks Todd. My wife didn’t want to cook and I didn’t want to go out so I grilled burgers.
Headed to our favorite Mexican restaurant tonight. The Ocoee hasn’t been yet…Hope I can keep it out of the salsa! 😊👍View attachment 1770590
I’m stoked you like it. Don’t forget about your other knives 🤣
Nice. Not sure how to classify the JX6 - is it 'traditional?' Modern? But regardless, I sure love mine. It's far and away one of my favorite edc fixed blades (in fact its one my belt right now).
Mine is the JX6 and I absolutely love it. I carry it in the pocket. My favorite fixed blade as well

I really like that XJ6. It's 1.5" longer than the 6" Boker Nessmi that I carry often. They are similar, and the Nessmi is based on Nessmuk's well known, much larger knife. Certainly traditional to me, with some modern touches.

The tiny bit of rain this morning had many Californians hoping for a deluge (we're gonna miss every raindrop we didn't get come summer), but we might as well make the best we can of a beautiful Northern California spring day. So I spent some quality time with my wife, my dogs, and my Case stockman at our favorite winery.
