Gorgeous view you have there, my friend. As I was laying out my gear yesterday evening, the sun was setting and positioned just right to light up the hill behind our house which contrasted with the field in front of it and with the weather rolling in for possible rain overnight so, I thought it would make a great picture for this morning and took, this picture through the window of our TV room.

Here's my main carry for today when we go to town for an appointment with the doctor for me, a stop at the Post Office, and a stop at the Holiday Market, with of course, lunch at the Wagon Wheel Cafe.

Do they make JB Weld in that shade of brown? In the last few minutes before leaving for town, I've changed my mind and have decided to carry this injured Sod Buster Jr. . Although missing it's shield and having a good sized chunk missing from it's cover, it's still an able knife.

Beauriful place to walk, Josh.
This is one of my favorites of your incredible collection, Rob.I don't care for the dirty brown look either. Maybe I need to give that gunstock cat some pocket attention !
I took a new pic of my old Utica with my smartphone this morning. I did not care for the pictures I had of it.
This knife was made between 1910-1940.
Lots of snap on the half stops and every position..
It is a pleasure to carry at 3&5/8" closed.
At least this pic shows the shine of the old bone, on my momma's back doorstep.:

You sure have some beautiful old knives!
Somebody got to feeling fancy.
Looks like a fine day, Johnny. Were you able to find an adult to accompany you?Cracking riding day today in sunshine.
I went to check out the cafe location for the bike meet I am putting on on May in the heart of the Cotswolds.
I got close enough to touch the Vulcan bomber next door, looked at the closed museum and later spotted a glorious Triumph Trident.
The cafe is right next to the runway path.

Wow! Nice Catt Barehead Serpentine Trapper Jack!
Thank you, sir! I don't carry it often - wouldn't want to lose it!I love the lagacy knives!
Glad you like it, Paul!! It was easier back then!!
Happy Birthday9yrs ago today this TC showed up on my birthday, back when you'd contact Charliewaynorth and purchase your TC's. I carried this ebony TC for a bit over 13 months every single day, sometimes with another knife but this one every day for that time. Simply, one of my most cherished knives

More time for the new Chris Sharp arrival today...
Here's a close-up of the integrated shield, which I think is a really cool feature (patent pending, apparently) of this knife...
Wait, I don't see a single textbook or grading book in that picture, how can it be a work picture?
