Agreed!!!A sad day indeed.![]()
What did the cat get to eat ? LOLOLOLThe look depends on the lightling and angle of the photograph and what you have been cutting. I had just cut steak...lol
Priceless picture Jeff !It’s Schradurday, a good day for a Schrade.
Took a break yeaterday while digging post holes to sit in the shade with my Granddaughter and Daughter.View attachment 1788667
Today my hands are so done in that I can barely open these pocketknives.
Looks like Olde Mustard. I kinda like it that color !I just can't get my head around "Mustard" as a knife color -- so, "Yellowstone Jigged Bone" it is!!!

Tuna on Saturday....lolWhat did the cat get to eat ? LOLOLOL
Priceless picture Jeff !Hope the hands mend soon.
Looks like Olde Mustard. I kinda like it that color !Olde Mustard was a very traditional color, from the colonial days. Nice pattern and shield, as well !
I like that pattern much better without the fancier pinched bolsters.
Handsome and practical pair Taylor
I hope you can get one in the style you want Barrett, I think it's a great little knifeThanks, Jack. I recently handled one of those Bradford Guardian 3s at the Badger show and really liked it. (I didn’t buy that one because it had the slimmer textured scales and sabre grind, and I’d prefer the scales like yours has and a full flat grind.) I’ve almost pulled the trigger several times, ordering direct from Bradford to get the specs I want, but they always seem to be out of stock on one option or another.![]()
A couple of sweet Saturday slicers JJ, and they look wonderful together
Looking good John
I hope you can get one in the style you want Barrett, I think it's a great little knifeGiven a choice, I'd have gone for FFG and a plain blade finish, but I haven't had any issues with the high sabre grind. I might pick up one of the Guardian 4 models at some point, but there seems to be a big jump in price for the extra inch of steel

I guess I could post it in Prac-Tac!Their sabre and their full flat grind don’t seem too different. I like the black coating — a holdover from my modern knife days, I guess. What I really don’t like is their pre-distressed “Nimbus” finish.
That's what I hearDid GEC use adamantium instead of 1095 on those bonus BF Barlows?![]()
Thank you, Jack.Looking good John
Both the HHB and the treat look awfully sweet, my friend.
