Four inches of snow last night. We don't plant our gardens until late May sometimes, mid June at our elevation here. We've had "hard frost" as late as 30 June that just slaughtered our tomatoes. Anyway, it's off to town for a haircut and then breakfast at the Wagon Wheel Cafe with a stop at the Holiday Market for groceries on the way home. I dyed the J-B Weld patch on my slammed in the door, J-B Weld patched, shieldless Case CV Chestnut Sod Buster Jr. I have the shield for the knife but like it more with the shield out than in.

I’m a big fan. Pretty slim for the footprint, this 86 is thicker. A lot to grab onto with the height of the frame, and the contouring makes it melt into the hand. It’s not unlike a worry stone.

Yea, my angus jack is a big ol thicc boy! I like the comparison to a worry stone.
