What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Pin cracks are always an annoyance, a recently recovered wood knife of mine has developed a dramatic crack around the pivot- it's Shadow- in just a few months of non use. Good thing there is ultra thin glue around, I think it works better on bone than woods though. You SURE your dawg hasn't been chewing that Barlow though?

I keep hearing members say "the Big-un" and I wonder, how big is the Big Un closed ?

I don’t know exactly why I quoted you, Rob, maybe because I got out an Opinel No. 10 Carbone for a certain job...It’s a little big, not Buck 124 big, but bigger than a Schrade Walden 204S Linesman, or a Schrade 194 Serpentine Jack. It’s very light, though.

I have never had one, but, always liked the look of them and I expect they make a good user knife, as others here have said.
Coincidentally, I picked a # 8 up off the exchange yesterday. I reckon I will find out for myself.
