Hope you're having a good day, my friend.

1965-1969 Case Trapper. It was my girlfriends dads knife. I sharpened and oiled it yesterday, it’s extremely sharp!

edit to add: I didn't count, but it took perhaps 300 strokes per side on the Spyderco Sharpmaker. This after sitting in a box for the last 25+ years. While oiling the blade, I stupidly ran my finger down the freshly sharpened edge. Let's just say it's plenty sharp. Tonight I used it to slice up an apple, then shaved a few pieces as thinly as possible. This is easily the sharpest knife I've ever used. I may have to dig through the collection and pull out any other chrome-vanadium knives in the pile.

It's been raining since about 3:00 AM, which we really need, so, we'll be sticking around the homestead. It'll be a good day to get the lawn tractor prepped to mow the grass this coming weekend.

Stop laughing at my mower. Ya, it's got tires so cheap that they have grass stains and a few other minuses but with one blade change and regular oil, oil filter, air filter, fuel filter, spark plugs, etc. maintenance, this old tractor is still on it's feet - errrrr wheels after 22-years. Purrs like a kitten.

I'll tote "Patch" while bumming around the shop today.
