Well, the pivot is like a tank now. It opens really great and has a great snap. Nothing bear-trap-like but just great to give the knife a secure hold when opened.

Thank you. IMHO and without owning that Barlow of yours there may or may not be any reason to get the 76. The barlow is all steel, really classy, similar blades and size right? I love the gunstock, glassy action and catapult like snaps but that barlow is a real sleeper IMO
