What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

This is a view of the Flatirons over by Boulder. It’s a shot from the meadows which is about as close as we got this time.8D7BD05A-8787-4EED-9179-D148809BC2F6.jpegIt was while I was taking this snapshot that my wife said “We really need to find a way to move out here”. Sure is expensive though.
Down in the left hand corner of this map, 9C3A5C6D-7317-4892-B01B-0BA2A6276046.jpegwhere the arrow is, then up the green trail on the right to the red cut-off back to the green trail on the left was just about right for our party. Last time, my son and I got up in there quite a ways, but this time, just a short up and down in the meadow was just right for this group.
Even without any heroic mountaineering, I thoroughly enjoyed the wild flowers. I think this is Silvery Lupine...59431831-34DB-4FB7-AB6E-5F7355DECE64.jpegWild Rose...599FEF5A-C879-4F15-B09E-23826960EE17.jpegAnd I have no idea what this weed is, but I like it...9454B8D9-4526-45FD-8212-FD5EDAC8F913.jpegWe had to take the girls to the airport last night :( Sent them back to Georgia. Fortunately, they had a great time, albeit short. The airfare was money well spent as far as we’re concerned.
This is our last full day here. My son and I are going to finish repairing his roof. They had a heavy, wet snow a few weeks ago that put a heavy tree limb through his garage roof. So far, I’ve showed him how to cut out and replace the section of damaged plywood, and all we have to do is get the tarpaper and new shingles on. Saved him a lot of money, and he’s learning another skill.

Here are my knife photos. Sorry for rambling.C93E28ED-11BA-43C5-950C-6386D4F15AA4.jpegC862772E-DAE7-4600-8D00-84EAF6E31E50.jpegF62DB312-A6B5-4454-90BB-5E86145E3D93.jpegHave a great Whittler Wednesday.

Scout Knife of the Week is an Imperial Kamp-King (that the BF spellcheck wants to "correct" to Lamp-King - or any of at least a half dozen other spellings it thinks MUST be better than Kamp-King):

Don't like the thistle swamp cooler mats we used last week or so so, were going to change them out for bonded fiber mats today. Of course sausage and eggs come first and then it'll be time to pocket this Remington and tackle the swamp cooler.

Are you sure the spell check is not on your own device?
I keep spell check and auto fill disabled on my phone. I can mess things up just fine without any help.

I've decided this 87 is my going to see medical professionals knife, at least for this week. Monday I had an annual exam. Tuesday I had to go back to give a blood sample. Today I'm heading off to the periodontist. Friday I get a chest scan to screen for lung cancer since I was a smoker for a long time. The disadvantage of scheduling all these in the same week is, it gets a little tiresome. The advantage is, assuming nothing exciting and unexpected is found, after this week I'll be done with the medical profession until October when I visit my regular dentist 😁

Once again:

That might get me in trouble. 😁
These days I have to be careful about how I ask the kids to do stuff.

You are welcome, my friend. :)

Love the AC, Joshua. 🤠

I love the color, the jigging, the shield, the lined bolsters... Total Package. 🤠
Thanks John! I happen to agree, all reasons why this knife is one of my favorites!
😁
