What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Thanks guys !!! Thank you.
Tyson, there is a very faint etch on the Peanut that has a Craftsman image and then the year 1927 ... so my GUESS is this Peanut is from 1977 !!! ... maybe tied to the 50th(?)

The etch is many years buried under patina on mine, but it said something like "50 years Craftsman 1927" or something like that. There was a black box with a fancy 50th anniversary logo on it too, but that's been gone for decades. That is a 1977 knife.

Everywhere I've looked says they were made by Schrade, and that makes a lot of sense to me . Mine is 45 years old (and the first ten or so seeing daily carry) and you still can't see the pivots in the bolsters - I'm pretty sure this was assembled using a Swindon key instead of a peened pivot.

Thanks Jon !!! ... that etch looks great AND you have the box !!! NICE
I could see WLS on the very faint etch on my knife, had to get out a magnifying glass, but didn't know what it stood for
Tyson A Wright Tyson A Wright told me it stood for "Worlds Largest Store", a Sears marketing slogan ... now I know :)

This Laguiole couteau de poche feels like a party and everyone is invited !!! ... not just estate agents and barons of big business
Hey, think outside the box, collapse the box and take a sharp knife to it. And don't lean against the wall - it's wet
An art exhibition of sorts in my pocket today. Maybe a bit of urban poetry ... of sorts. Not sure why but I sorts of hate this knife in a gotta have it weird kind of way

I think it is rather a cool knife Brother Jim. I like the art and usually like more conservative art.
I doubt it will make you dream that you are a muffler. Did you recover from that episode ? I was going to ask if it might have been bad gas that caused it. 🤔🤔🤔😲🤣
I hope the love-hate relationship gets better.

Toting a few of my Primble knives for Sunday, the crown jack well used and functions perfectly - the other, hardly ever used. I will likely be going back to new tomorrow.

Nice quirk.

"Cancer and reproductive harm" warning?!?!? California gov't is nuts!
[I assume it was California that requires that ridiculous warning.]
Obviously the Ca legislature was reacting to the tendency of Californians to chew on knife handles and stab themselves in the reproductive bits.
