What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

The dock post went in without a hitch. That’s rare for me!
Never goes as planned...
I painted a few patch jobs yesterday.
My wife grabbed the paint from me to "touch-up" a few spots.
I told her something didn't seem right and wait for it to dry and see if it matches.
But you know how wives are... full speed ahead... ended up being the wrong paint and we had to repaint a whole bunch of stuff.

Nice knife... Fly fishermen don't need the "other" blade. ;)

I can’t see what everyone likes the mini copperlock so much. I carried a different one like a year once before. And my wife loves hers (identical to the one shown). But I just.... it just don’t suit me. It’s too small for my bear paws I guess. I’ve never tried a full size copperlock so maybe I’d find love there. I might just take it to town with me next time I visit ace. There is two knife nuts that work there. The one was showing me a tribal lock the other day..... I kinda liked it.

Thanks Greg, the Osage on both knife and Bow look great. enjoy the weekend  :)
Love all the Osage... Great picture. 🤠
I'm a couple days behind, (as usual), but thanks for the kind comments my friends.

I have these two on me person while enjoying pleasant temps and a cold beverage outdoors this evening. Hope all the good people here on the porch had an enjoyable weekend.

It's a relaxing Sunday at home, so why the heck am I carrying three knives? Well, I'm carrying the 97 because it's my favorite knife. I'm carrying the Craftsman Peanut because B BrotherJim reminded me of it with his recent acquisition and I thought it would be fun to carry my first knife. I'm carrying the Proper because I just haven't been able to stop carrying this darn thing this month. The only cutting I did was a little minor pruning with the 97 (and some cooking, but I used a chef's knife for that). I guess I'm carrying three knives because I want to! (And I didn't leave the property or work very hard today so it didn't matter if I had too much stuff in my pockets.)

I still don't understand how some of you carry three (or more!) knives on a regular basis, though.

That’s sounds like something I’d do only I probably wouldn’t be able to tell the difference. 🤣

So true.

Superb, impressive long Spear fills the whole frame, beautiful bone (it's that Spotty Horse I can never remember how to spell...;) ) One of my few gripes about certain CASE knives is that they sometimes have rather short blades in relation to the frame, not this GEC though. Makes me mourn the loss of my 78 Micarta Spear in a move, all I have left is the empty tube..pitiful...

Thanks for showing this very imposing knife, Will
Thanks, Will. 🙂

I think Case really does a nice job with their reds. I bought this one from another forum member here a few years ago. I can't remember who, though. I like the lines & the feel of the large jack a little bit better than the mediums.

I love both your Jacks and that 92 is a beauty. I think I have the same knife but different release, 2000 if memory serves :)

Cool picture Bart. 😎👍
Thanks, Todd.
Beautiful Bone, Bart. 🤠
Thanks, John.
Been a little busy with family and friends coming in for my daughters wedding. I need to start hauling the refreshments out to the venue today. Figured a climber might actually come in handy🥴View attachment 1852710

I’m a little late, but that is a great pair of knives , Jack. Great horn and great stag!
Looks like fun!

I spent the weekend at my son’s class camping trip. We spent lots of time in the water. The lake was a little low but we still had tons of fun.

I supplied the beef for the potluck last night. I grilled 40-some burgers which is always a little stressful. It all turned out well in the end. I had my Alox SAK with me, along with a few others.
