Thanks Bart, pretty cool watching it change each day. That lighter patina is coming on quickly! They look great together.
I’m stealing that first joke for my Dad Joke collection. On deck, a GARDENER and a RAMBLER
- I once asked a gardener how to brighten up my garden ... he said to plant some bulbs
- Out rambling along the river one day, I spotted a fellow rambler over on the other bank
I yelled out, HEY ... how do I get to the other side?
Fella thought a moment, looked up river, then down river and called back, You're on the other side ...

I love that model of Victorinox. So simple, so useful around the garden.A man after my own heart. Here is the Victorinox Florist I've been carrying this week. Carries surprisingly small for having such a large comfortable handle.

I like that mysterious Schrade! Stainless with StaglonFor some reason I was drawn to this pair for today. The Schrade is a mystery though. No model number markings on the blade. Blade almost looks generic. Research revealed a model 280 but that could have been a special anniversary run. Regardless, it feels good in the hand and takes a great edgeView attachment 1857819View attachment 1857820
Thank you!Nice pairing. The creek looks like it might hold a few sunfish and maybe a bass or two. One of our neighbors is a landscaper and is very critical of what he puts around his flowers. Basically if he doesn't pull it out of his compost bin he does not use it.
That is a little shallow. Creeks and short fly rods or a short ultra light spinning combo just go togetherThank you!
I never have bothered with this creek as it’s little more than ankle deep. We have others here that definitely hold fish~
Nippersink Creek, Piscasaw Creek, and the Kishwaukee River.
Thank you, Jack.Cool photos John
Great shot of your HHB... Hope you find some fun adventures.
Your Humor is ReVolting.I don’t have the energy right now
That's a "looker".
Fantastic Pair.
Those two are very special.
I like the loyalty.
Great knife, it begs to be put to work.

Not quite. He’s almost 3. But I let him handle my knives and he knows to not touch the sharp edge. He’ll hold it and look and touch the spine and then hand it back real careful.Nice pairing. Awesome. Chance for dad to teach him how to properly sharpen a blade.
Two great knives, John.
