Super sweet bladeToday I stuck with the Case Bose Eureka.
Barrett, I confess. I don’t know what a sausage roll is. Never heard of it.
You sure? It was a pretty good sausage roll.
Renewing my license was (mostly) a painless experience. I wondered if there would be some sort of fine or penalty, because it had technically expired on my birthday a couple weeks ago, but they didn’t seem to notice/care.
Just seeing the red X here (except when I quote it). This was a problem a while back, too, and I think it was only ever partially solved (if that). There are some threads in Tech Support about it. It’s definitely frustrating.
Thanks, Gary! Yessir, I feel the same about that knife from Ron...There's a bakery almost next-door to our house, and my wife often buys day-old bread, cookies, and other baked goods for a discount.
How about some week-old posts, no charge??
Captivating couple of cobra customs!!
Congrats on the gift Böker, Greg!
That round bolstered golden moose is a beauty!
Cool knife, Jack!!
You certainly didn't expect a pattern called "moose" to be petite, did you??
Yeah, that video was enjoyable!I also thought the girl lost hold of the neck of her banjo near the end, but it didn't throw her off at all. When she sang a verse, her voice was not what I was expecting at all.
Thanks for the extra music info, Jim!
WW!! There's a dream of a SAK!!
Primo Peanut, Tim!
That canoe is a champ!
I thought you were supposed to have a relaxing summer; sounds like you have busy, intense times ahead, Todd!
'Nuts and berries are delicious and nutritious, Mike!
Superb photos of "Big Mac", Mike!
In a car, I was nervous the first few times I drove across. Even now, after having driven across dozens of times in the past 30 years, I still don't like driving on those grates in the center lanes. I think I can feel my tires squirming around on that steel like they're "hydroplaning" in a rainstorm.
Outstanding trio for last Saturday, Jack!Do I see the memorable Abbeydale Jack there?
Iris and I admire those GEC #88s!
Fancy flowers, and your sleeveboard 26 fits right in, adding to the visual appeal!
Thanks for the info about the 2 types of berries, Jeff.We had raspberries, black and red (and straw), in the yard when I was a lad, but not blackberries.
Great that you have that whittler as a memento of Ron!
Splendid stag on that knife, José!
Sensational photo, Jon!
I need to track down one of those Jackmaster Baseball Knives - such a classic!

That one is no stranger to a pocket. Love the look. How does it compare in size to a 55 if you know? This 1991 Buck 704 Maverick was my wingman today. I love the thinness of the single blade configuration.

The two are nearly identical. The 704 blade is slightly longer, and it’s closed and overall lengths are slightly shorter. I threw in a 503 Prince as well. The 503 is from the late 80’s or early 90’s but was re-bladed in 2005. I had sharpened it so much as a kid that the tip was exposed. That one is no stranger to a pocket. Love the look.
