There really is not much better than totin’ a 77 Barlow.

Thank you Jeff, Amir Fleschwund Amir Fleschwund !

Gary W. Graley Gary W. Graley , love that jigged red bone! (One of those sentences that really seem odd to someone outside the knife world!)

JTB_5 JTB_5 , nice patina you have going there on one of the best knives ever made by GEC!

Great sentiments JJ Cahill JJ Cahill . I am not a monarchist, but I have tremendous respect for the Queen and her country. Your photos are amazing as usual.

Kleins - the very definition of lineman side-cutters!
👍🏼😁👍🏼

I can confirm their quality, but not the number. They are very old with nothing on there but M Klein&Sons Chicago USA.

I have been repairing some garden fencing, and needed something with a little more grunt than my usual Leatherman, but not so big and heavy as my actual fencing pliers. With the leather belt sheath from Farm ‘n Fleet, these are ideal. I just may stick with them and give the Leatherman a well deserved break.
Evening garden carry, pumpkin patch caught a blight this year so my pumpkins are turning about 3 weeks early…View attachment 1924833
Blankety blank squash beetles have ravaged my summer and winter squashes…
Again.
The trouble is, their eggs overwinter in my mulch and woodchips, and I don’t use any chemicals. Kill ‘em with fire?🤪

Thanks! It definitely top tier. I still wonder how we were able to see it happen with all the crazy bickering that accompanied it.

Y😲WZA! That RR stag whittler is outstanding, Greg!:cool::cool: Did you darken it a bit, or did it come that way?
Those pocket slips are the type I'd like to try making with some old baseball glove leather I've saved; I like the "lacing", and I'll bet that would be easier than "stitching" for a rookie leather worker like me.

Thanks, Gary. Yep I dyed the stag handles with some RIT, RR's are perfect for that kind of experimentation. I'd never forgive myself if I botched up an expensive knife.

Thanks Mr P :) They wrong-footed me with a woman doctor! 🤨😆;)

Stunning knives there Mr P, love that FB  :)

Thank you Mr. Jack and I regret to hear of your being wrong- footed. 😞
I also regretted to learn that Queen Elizabeth II had passed. I have always admired the way she carried herself and the way she served her country. 😞
I will carry an assortment of Ebony knives tomorrow as a show of respect for her.
