What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Sturzi, I have admired that Carter before, but seeing it side by side with the TCB even more so now! That's a real beauty and a great size to boot:thumbup:

Thanks Duane. It has pretty much banished the modern folders from my pockets, only the Sebenza still gets regular pocket time. It made me a believer in small pocketable fixed blades :)

Nice little combo for today: Sean O'Hare Sparrow in Mike Norris crazy lace damascus, Mike Sakmar mokume gane guard, and a turkish walnut handle and a Joel Chamblin sleeveboard whittler. Claude Scott made the sheath for me with beaver tail inlay.

Kris, the folder is my favorite of all the knives you've posted since I started hanging out here. The damascus pattern is like none I've ever seen and the stag is just fantastic. I'm sure the cost to have one made (if possible) like it puts it in grail territory for me. I will never tire of seeing that one.

My new GEC #68 White Owl in rusty red jig bone. Sharpened her up on the Wicked Edge so she's performing at a high level now. Neat little knife and a perfect size for EDC.

Great looking pair! Your Fiddleback hiking buddy is sweet. Have you had it for a long time?

Thanks!

It's a Fiddleback Kephart, a touch bigger than the Hiking Buddy. I've had it about 2 months and it's become my favourite fixed blade by some margin. Andy always gets the handle shape so nice, this one is in 1/8" stock with a tapering tang and convex scandi grind which I have brought to the edge.

Nicely balanced and pointy, perfect for whittling but gets used for plenty besides:)

I have been carrying this TC 92 EJ in white bone today. I really am liking this pattern. The tip needs some reprofiling, but that will come shortly.
