Beautiful knife and fall colors. ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ‘
Iโ€™ve got one, love the blade grind, shape, red and black micarta but the action is a little weak compared to the 92s that I think were in the same run, howโ€™s yours?
The action isnโ€™t as strong as the 92s or the recent 59s but itโ€™s snappy and buttery smooth. ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ‘
2.6 inches of rain last night and it's still raining

Too bad it didn't come a couple of days earlier. We've been in a drought. Mild compared to the west, but its been dry. This weekend we had 20+ mph winds. A piece of farm equipment ignited a fire near the tiny town of Woolridge, Missouri. It burned 3500 acres and half the town :( I-70 was closed for two hours due to the smoke.

Wow, thatโ€™s devastating, glad no life was lost.
Had to get creative but this was too good not to share.

Great looking pair John. ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ‘

No, they donโ€™t. Theyโ€™re getting better, but are no match for the ones screened and graded for low microphonics, and 10,000 hour life. Tube suppliers often sell tubes salvaged from the cases carried by those repairmen.

And some of us luddites like the old knives, too! ๐Ÿ˜œ

I think Iโ€™ll tote these Old Timers for awhile, a 125, and 194.View attachment 1968697
Very nice pair of old timers.

Thanks Bart. ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ‘

Thanks Todd. Count me as a big fan of yours today as well.

Beautiful Remington ...................... and coins. I had to check my old coin drawer to see if they got snatched. ๐Ÿ˜ ๐Ÿคฃ Mine are a little more worn.

The oak handle is superb ๐Ÿ˜

I am really pleased with them myself and I thank you ! ๐Ÿ˜Š

Yes, the newer tubes do last longer.
Unfortunately,I use tubes produced in the 50's and 60's. Some from Russia, others like rca. There is a big debate, some say the older tubes produce a sweeter sound.

I used to be in to those high fidelity sound systems, when I was younger and chasing girls. Had a nice Yamaha system at the time that included the fantastic NS1000 speakers. Now, I hardly turn on my radio or stereo in the Jeep half the time. But some days ( when I am feeling spunky ) I wear my AirPods on my walk. ๐Ÿคฃ

Stunning pair Mr P :) I'll have to check out your other post! :D :)

Thank you Mr. Jack ! ๐Ÿ˜Š

I see some of you talking about the dry weather lately and it has been really dry here, as well. But it started raining tonight and is forecast to continue the next few days. I took this photo this afternoon of the dry grasses around our newly painted water tower, which I walk by on my walks most every day. Pretty nice paint job, if you ask me.
