That's downright dishonest isn't it?Thanks much, my friend.
You know, it wasn’t until you and Robb started talking about the Dremel marks wandering all up the sides of blades that I realized why they do it. Trying to dig out rust spots and scratches…. I’d always assumed they were either dorks or vandals.
But it is their property, and their’s to do with it what they will. The truly despicable verminous weasel is the auction site seller who skillfully evades disclosing such damage in their carefully posed photos.![]()
Hope she has a very happy birthdayView attachment 1973801
My oldest turns 16 today. I’m carrying my ‘06 Soldier and personalized 36 today for the occasion. I’ve always said I knew she loved me because her due date was the day the cardinals won the world series, but she waited until after to come out.
Nice work Jeff, cool pics thereI tried to use the Bowie on the punkin, but that is not what it’s for. Way too thick.
The Old Hickory boning knife, being slender and razor sharp, was perfect.View attachment 1973824
The usual morning look-see in the vegetable patch. Here are some of the plants that thrive right up until the ground freezes solid.Peas, View attachment 1973825ATTACH=full]1973825[/ATTACH]

And to complete my photo bombardment, here’s a cool old car at the farm where we buy our Jack ‘O Lantern pumpkin every year. He has old cars and trucks, and tractors ~ dozens and dozens. A huge machine shed filled with them, and a long row of old tractors outside. He always builds a House of Horror out of hay bales, and since they’re then ruined for feed, he lets me have them for mulching my garden.View attachment 1973823

You're certainly not under knifed with those three super duper Sunday slicers; your sweet pruner looks like a one of the great classics, too!![]()

Happy Halloween to You and Lucy.
Some good stuff right there!!
Yeah, I took several pics to text to Dad. The farmer loves to show off his collection, but Dad’s fifty miles away, so I need to figure a way to get him here when the farmer’s not busy. This weekend, he had his equipment over in the next county harvesting beans.Great looking old car. To me collards taste better after a good frost.
Thanks, John!great post.
Wow! Love the Randall.
And aome people wonder how we end up with so many knives…Oh man I didn't even know those existed! Definitely going to be googling around for one of them now!
Well, it was easier back when I had samples! They cost a lot more now, too.View attachment 1974263View attachment 1974264
JeffAmir Fleschwund . I admire anyone who gives away full size candy on Halloween! The kids on your street are fortunate to have a neighbor like you.
Yes, the medical offices are the mask holdouts here. Dig the grubby used ones out of the glovebox, and they’ll give you new ones when you go in.The JM today named after Jean-Marc.
Probably nothing this afternoon off to the GP appintement. The wife informed me yesterday, we still have to wear a mask! Huh I thought we over it.

Todd, there’s no rule saying you’re too old. Get a punkin and get to it!Looks great Jon, I miss those days
Good thing he didn’t get all the way through to the blade. Manny ruined some guitar cables when he was a pup.Monday's metal ... and a puppy chewed sheath

That's downright dishonest isn't it?A lot of the ones I've seen have been gouged by market traders, trying to 'clean up' a bunch of knives they've bought for a pittance, without any thought or skill
Hope she has a very happy birthday![]()

I was actually carrying Lucy, my vampire Lambsfoot, rather than the old Lino Knife, with its nasty Demel scars
A classic pairing my friend, and it's great to see them back togetherTwo absolute treasures
