A fine jack and well done on the bead. I envy the landscape that is your " backyard".I carried a eureka jack and a small fixed blade today with a “bonestag” bead I made last night from a cow bone I picked up yesterday.

Very sorry to hear about your back Jim, sounds painfulI twisted something in my back last week and had to end the hunt a bit early. Today is the first day since Sunday I wore anything with pockets…and I was able to get socks on without passing outView attachment 1991619
Thanks JJ, yes, my Lambsfoot is always busy at the market!Thank you very much, Jack!!!![]()
Barring your wet and rainy weather, it looks like you put your sweet Lambsfoot to some tasty tasks; stay dry my friend!![]()
Amazing! Nearly a century old, and not only in superb condition, but still being carried
Sorry to hear it's no better there my friend, I hope the weather brightens up, for both of us, soonThank you Mr. Jack for the compliment and it sure looks dreary over in Leeds today. Not much better here, except it is colder. Looks like you showed the lambs a good time though !![]()
That handle is a thing of beauty for sure. It draws me in.
Thank you. It is a nice one to feel in hand too; lots of cool textures. That handle is a thing of beauty for sure. It draws me in.
Outstanding knife. That secondary is sitting so low in there!Elijah J. woke me an hour early today ( he has still not adjusted to Daylight Savings time) so I am going to make the best of it by going to the market early. The cupboard is about bare and the kitty food is running out, which might create a real problem, if not addressed promptly.

For Friday, I am toting my beloved Schrade Cut. Co. ( c. 1917-1946 ) tear drop jack and I reckon it is all I need today. Have a fine weekend everyone !

That's what a 2 blade Jack is all about: Barehead of course, fine Spear, great shield and a kind of Pick-Bone that's mellowed to exhibition standard. I'd say it's the Cat's Miaou, but Elijah J may disagree...best get that cat food in the house or your mutilated torso will be discovered by the neighbours within the next few days...Elijah J. woke me an hour early today ( he has still not adjusted to Daylight Savings time) so I am going to make the best of it by going to the market early.
