What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Unbelievingly ?

Well ,,,,,,,,,,, I love the knife, but, the fly ......................... c'mon man .................... I liked that shriveled up Shamrock better than a dirty old fly ! 😲 🤣🤣

You need a new bunny knife or something ...................... a mercury dime, a buffalo nickel, or a penny ! ;)🤣

By the way ..... Your knife probably needs disinfectant ! 🤣
Huge cultural gap opening up here....:D

Here the winters are very long and VERY cold, summers are short and hot and flies are everywhere in the countryside. This one gatecrashed my shot...and we don't cut them up so no disinfectant needed thank you ;)

Don't tell me Elijah J doesn't go bonkers if he sees an insect flying around the house 😹

Always been a big admirer of US coinage, you don't mess about with your currency like other places...and the designs are beautiful, timeless. Tell you what, I could do with a new backdrop for a knife: you send me one of them 50 Dollar Gold Buffaloes I hear you all get in change, that'll do :cool:šŸ˜

Felt like going with Peach Seed today. This #15 was my first GEC Barlow that Mrs. Crappie searched high and low to buy for me.

I think that before today, the last time I posted on The Porch was a week ago. I remember than my posts in this thread were featuring red knives, of which I posted a couple on last Friday morning, and I still had a few more I planned to post on Saturday and Sunday to close out my Red Knife Week to kick off Advent 2022. But by the time I finished supper last Friday, I could tell I was "hurtin' for certain", and sure enough, I spent about 45 hours of the 48 hours that comprised last weekend in bed with fever/chills/sore throat. Since then I've been trying to catch up on life after missing my days to do the weekend chores.

So I'm going to just finish up posting my red knives from last week over this weekend, and start up my Green Knife Week on Monday, just a week behind my original plan.
Here's a Rough Rider medium stockman that is VERY nice IMHO, reminiscent of an Uncle Henry 897 UH, which I think is an ideal medium stockman:

Thank you David, it certainly has plenty of 'characters'! :D

No, it isn't, but I really don't go looking, that's just a few scenes from my mate's stall! :D

Beautiful photo of a lovely knife Tim :)

LOL! :D Great pic Todd :)
Thanks Jack. šŸ˜ŽšŸ‘
Those look good together James. šŸ˜ŽšŸ‘
Stale popcorn...🤢🤮 Also, don't worry, I'll give you a one week grace period to that beautiful barlow into proper shape ;)🤣🤣🤣
I’m sure it will look better in a week. šŸ˜ŽšŸ‘

I did wonder what you’d gotten into the last couple of days. Sounds like the flu!

I guess the good news is that losing a weekend is not any worse than losing a couple of ordinary days for us retired dudes.

Be well.
