The Case made Clauss arrived yesterday so I brought to work today to sharpen and oil. Just a SOLID knife with blade loss on the main, full pen and slick black covers...NICE old Jack Knife with some honest battle scar's.

Nice trio Paul paulhilborn . There's still enough steel left on the Clauss main to last a hundred years!! Solid old knife.

I took Sudsy out with me today on a very crisp,peaceful walk.

As you know SF Fanatic very kindly offered to sell this one to me earlier in the year knowing I would like it (and I do).

I didnt take any Beer bottles for the cap lifter to get busy with opting instead for a hot chocolate.

The sun was out, I only felt cold in the shade down by the pond where the ducks hang around.

I think a single blade,with these thinner covers and stainless for the outdoors would be another winner.

I say that as I managed to get this one rusty when I got soaked on my motorbike and today was worried it would happen again.

"Short beak" Barlow by Rhidian in my pocket today, with another artist's work!!
My wife Joanne puts a lot of work into her Christmas Cards!! She carved this Crow from a wood block and did two printings to make this card - all by hand!! Several friends have framed her Cards every year!!

Speaking of herder , he usually makes the trip down to the Badger Knife Show, so Old Engineer introduced me to Neal over pre-show breakfast. Nice guy with a lot of knife knowledge.

Last year, he and Barrett drove down together. Which was the first time I got to meet that young lad.

Hopefully we can all do it again here in a few months.

Took a few days off for a trip myself. Jumping in here, too many pages to catch up on. We went to Tampa for a few days to see the Bucs play the saints. Had a great time Sunday meeting and having a few beers with Jon @Jon0385 and Mark @mcc850. Money afternoon I did a little pregame warmup in Ybor City, and had a good time razzing the saints fans as they walked by. View attachment 2009900

I have a bit of a thing for Christmas movies. I make a list every year of the ones I like, and I try to watch as many of them as I can. Those are both quality Christmas movies, and both are on my list, but let’s face it, we all know that this is the best Christmas movie.

(I just checked this year’s list. There are 38 movies on it, so I’ve got my work cut out for me.)
