What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

John, only someone who rides a motorcycle would be crazy enough to take a close up picture of a sign that says, “Danger No Entry “! Well done! 👍
I am not that crazy (just a bit),the photo is cropped a little.😁

I did a canoeing course 30 years ago, we where warned that the "Stopper" here was extremley dangerous, once you where caught in it you couldnt escape.

The speed and noise of the water coming through the sluice gate was terrific, the river was very high.

"Hydraulics/stoppers are caused when water flows over an obstacle (for example, a rock or weir) and then forms a rapid and aggressive re-circulating flowing motion back towards the obstacle (like a vertical eddy)."

Decided to pick up a big soddy
After thinking it over for a week or better its perfect for me

Stainless
Delrin handles
Workable tip/point

I don't have to care about rust, spilling gas or oil or any other chemicals on it
Will just laugh if I drop it on the concrete floor

And while it's not one handed it's definitely pinchable even in gloves

Perfect work knife, nice choice. 😎👍
Thursday carry again
My new favorite 😆

Right Todd ? :)😜
Absolutely Ed. 😄 I can see why, that one’s a real looker. 👍
Will be getting ready for 45 mph winds later. We are going to see Christmas decorations flying everywhere.View attachment 2023679
Nice photo Bob. We’re doing the same here, lots of big trees around our house so these strong winds always make me a bit nervous.

Thanks Todd...I hope you come through unscathed. ☃️

Prestigious pair of knives! The Ka-Bar pen is primo, but that Waynorth Cutlery Lambsfoot steals the spotlight with its phenomenality!!

Thank you for the kind comment, sir! We'll see if you get tired on the Christmas lambsfoot show after a week of them!

Some people refer to me as an old goat now, so I appreciate your kindness to that wether and his sister, David!

Thanks for the info, Jack. As a kid, I was fascinated by the "ingenuity" of that style drill!

Really enjoy the photos of your adventures, and your CJ Barlow is super-classy!
What exactly is a "corn exchange"? Do farmers take their corn there and exchange it for cash??

I have one of those rams horn Barlows, and the matching canoe, and like them very much; I also have a rams horn pruner, which is a massive piece of cutlery. I also have one of those carbon steel RR canoes that I also enjoy a lot (although a yellow carbon sowbelly stockman is my overall favorite from that series). Congrats on your new arrivals!

That yellow oak is no joke! Looks fantastic; congrats!

I usually am so overwhelmed by your 88 that I don't pay as much attention to your other knives as they deserve. Today is the first time I notice that wonderful Wharncliffe secondary blade on your Peanut!!

What a coincidence! I had a breakfast burrito yesterday at the Real Food Cafe (actually I ate half of it and half in my refrigerator). But I didn't have a knife that could compare with that jigged bone WCLF you posted!

Love that knife, and the small print made me laugh out loud!

Another fancy Buck Cadet!!

Thanks for the additional info on your classy stag 303.
I suppose I shouldn't be surprised to see it, since I have a stag Buck canoe that was produced about that same time.

Thanks, Bob. Congrats on the new sheepsfoot! Is that ebony?

That Cattaraugus Barlow is such an admirable knife; I love the "fine print" cursive script on the bolster!

You're very welcome. I have the Wood (a gift) and Bone (a personal purchase) scaled versions of that imported Canoe series but cannot justify today's prices on the Stag model. I only wish Buck would move that Canoe pattern stateside. In the meantime, the imported Stag version is still on my radar, if I can spot one in my price range, that is. That is quite the handsome knife you have there 5K Qs:

I really like the character of the camel bone coming through the dye in yours Tyler. Very cool. I got the “out for delivery” note this morning for the bunny. Hopefully your wait won’t be too much longer!
