Thanks. It's mammoth on the LloydBoth are beautiful examples of wood coats. Wow.
Thank you. It's mammoth on the Lloyd and maple burr on the Picard.Stunning! Is that spalted wood or mammoth on the Lloyd? It is beautiful!
The Rabbit’s here, thanks. Being still a kid tempered by “experience”, aka: a gray beard, I can anticipate without impatience. Some of the angst and bitterness in the Bunny Knife thread was sad.I go to our local knife library and check them out. Nobody here told me that I had to own the knives to tote them.
Thank you and I was happy to see that your Bunny hopped home.![]()
Wow! Nice finds, Bob! Love the Catt and your “pen knife”An Ibberson and Cattaraugus View attachment 2035084
I really do not know the blade type on the Ibberson.
Edit: looks like it was filed on tip.
Thanks for the info, Will. The stag works in a shadow pattern, and a bit over 4” is near perfect to me.Amir Fleschwund at your service, it's an inexpensive French knife, Shadow Stag, all steel with some filework, Sandvik Cigar type pattern. 4.25" /10.5 cm approx closed. Feels very good in the hand too.
Thanks, Will

Jon I wish my bones were that good! These old ones have great soul! The bone on both of them is so good. I noticed you got the 343 bunny. I’m 242. I’m two fer two and you’re three fer three. Someone is always one upping me.
Stunning! Is that spalted wood or mammoth on the Lloyd? It is beautiful!
Let Chewbacca loose! Such cool knives.
Thank you Mr.P.Nice looking Catt Mr. Rufus !!
The Ibberson doesn't appear to be filed on the spine. The spine has a slope that looks like a lambs foot to me. My guess is a poor little lamb that someone snapped the tip off.
I might try to turn it back into a short nosed lamb, if it were my choice.I mean it's not like the filer did a whiz bang job on it, anyway.
