Recent ebony acquisitions. Had all three of these in my pocket when I was out taking pics and retrieving the garbage can and mail. Its a pretty day

This one. Well, more like blowing up... A recent China made Schrade Imperial Jackmaster #278 Barlow, it is very cheap and positioned as a simple and affordable piece, but turned out to be just a junk. Blades could have been opened only with a pliers. I tried to file the tangs, but it took too much time and too small a result, so I just torn it apart and made myself a bare metal working jack. Now it opens perfectly fine.

Look at those "bolsters", right? Those tinfoil-thin things even had a plastic film between them and plastic covers (not present on the picture). What for, I wonder...

Now I'm a knifemaker, yeah. (not)
