What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Just wanted to show my EO Hammer that I am totin' today in outdoor cloudy light, as it has more color outdoors. Took the smartphone pic after my morning walk.

Rob, keeping it vintage classy as ever! Love this knife, this is a very useful pattern and that jigging is stately 🥰

View attachment 2082672Put this one in my fancy new slip, courtesy of the very kind and generous giveaway of Mr. Watts (Ephsea). Thanks so much!!

And a fine knife you chosen to grace that slip with James! Carry it in health and happiness sir! I was gonna tote my 74 today for WW, but a mail call derailed that plan...
ephsea ephsea very generous of you to do that. I saw it on the exchange but that guy is the fastest gun in the west. Enjoy the new slip Tyler.
Well thanks Paul, actually you inspired me with your GAW. I've benefitted a lot from hanging around here, so it feels good to give back. I agree with you on TylerG12 TylerG12 's quickdraw abilities, he's beat me to a number of fine GECs and my budget thanks him! 😅

I don't know yet; probably not all of these.

Thanks Jack! I’ll definitely be going far away. The ship I’ll be on is out of Seattle, WA. It’s underway for 6 months at a time and goes all the way down to Antarctica. I am stoked!
That’s going to be quite the adventure, Jon. Will you be able to post knife and scenery photos during the cruise? Maybe by satellite phone?
I found this on the world wide web ~

Awesome old pen!
Sunday walk while the kid rod his bicycle. Pics are of an old church down the block from me, now Baptist but presumably Catholic in the past when this was still a respectable neighborhood (before blockbusting, white flight, and redlining). Formerly a grandiose structure replete with amazing cut timbers in the stucco, and dozens of multicolored diamond pane leaded glass windows, it has fallen into disrepair and this section is abandoned.

Monday was a construction day, replaced a hot water heater at a friends. The stainless came in handy as there was a fair amount of water, old unit had been leaking for awhile and the floor drain was clogged.

Yesterday's choice was easy, I only have one red (err, pink) knife. Unfortunately @untytled beat me too it, and with a better example and picture 🤷‍♂️

I am behind on this juggernaut of a thread again, will endeavor to get current and post today's carry later. The mail came yesterday and it was glorious!
Happy day all!
That’s a shame to see that incredible old church fall into disrepair. Maybe the new owners will restore it.

I have already laid out what I am totin' for tomorrow and I have some things to do tomorrow morning, so I will post my totes now. A nice little Cattaraugus pen knife that Mr. Rufus mailed to me late last week as a very kind gesture and measures 3" closed. I'll add my New York Knife Co. Harness Jack, a knife I have owned for about six years and never posted until today ...... or tomorrow ..... depending on how you look at it. The harness jack measures 3.5" closed. Elijah J. and I are off to bed. Good evenin' porch ! 😊

I had some oil on the harness jack blades and didn't realize it till the pictures was took. :(
Beautiful pen gifted by Bob Rufus1949 Rufus1949 !

I always thing of pen knives as a Gentleman’s Knife.
You can carry it when you wear your skinny jeans!🫣

Sun's out, no snow, gonna be a great day. Haven't carried "Patch" my slammed in the truck door, shield fell out of, patched with J-B Weld, Sod Buster Jr. in quite a while so, I'll carry it today. No plans - just sticking around the homestead. Don't even think I'll go up to the mailboxes. Jimmy Dean Hot Sausage and waffles for breakfast.
