A couple favorites for a lazy Sunday. Hope nobody's working too hard today? ;)

Brazilians may think they are colourful but they havent met the morris men, here are some in Abingdon 🤣

Abingdon also has a traditional bun throwing day.
I take my coffee in the Bulgarian coffee cafe to the left of the square as looking at it,silver chairs outside.
Some people think this is soft, you wouldnt say that when they have had a few scrumpys and are wacking each other with the wooden cudgels. 😆

I love this joke it always makes me smile.

Brilliant! 🤣👍

Awesome Heritage collection👍 I never did buy one when they were available because I was scared by the mixed quality reviews.
Thanks, Bart. I can understand your reluctance on buying as there are some flaws in these. I bought the set from a dealer who still had them 4-5 years after they were made/released. As a set the cost was about $43 per knife which made it an attractive and worthwhile purchase.;)

I've been feeling a little under the weather today, so I've just been stropping some knives while I watch college wrestling on tv. I pulled out this Schrade muskrat and realized I don't know anything about it. It came to me via an impulse, bourbon fueled ebay button mash about a year ago. The tang stamp indicates that it's from the 46 - 73 era, but it has no other markings, including model number. I read sonewhere that Schrade switched to delrin in the early 60s. So, initially this knife would seem to date between 1946 and the early 60s.

But I'm skeptical of that. The jigged bone, threaded bolsters and lack of a shield look very similar to a very late Tennessee River Trapper that I own. The frame is the same as the 881 stockman. So I'm wondering what I have here. Is this a franken knife or something that was assembled with leftover parts after the closing? Some kind of late SFO? Or is it really an older Walden knife? The build quality is very good. Nice and snappy good, W&T, no wobble, no gaps, nice bone, etc. Hoping some of the Schrade experts might be able to help. Thanks!
