Good day ladies and gents.
View attachment 2125677I think this Henckles and lamb should be sufficient for the day.

I really like the shield on that lamb Mr. R.

Thanks Bob, it makes a great sammich cleaver! Among other things :D

I was laughing at that little clever .... when I first saw it as one of your totes ........ now how is Mr. Jack going to tote that big ole clever ? 🤔🤔🤔🤣
............... then I thought you must be expecting trouble out of Toolman today ........... but, then I realized this is only Wednesday. 🤔🤔🤔😊😊
Now that I see that it might fit (with a big bulge in yer pocket) I still wonder if you have a slip of some sort to keep it from cuttin' yer britches ! 🤔🤔🤔🤣
I really like your little Winchester !😍

Thank you Mr.P...I asked for a swoosh and that is what I received.
Hope you and Elijah have a good one today.😼

KA-BAR-LO marked KA-BAR on the main and Union Cut. Co., Olean, N.Y. on the pen ...... dates this Barlow from 1930-1935.
I like the pen behind main and it is one smooth operator .... opening and closing, with no half stops.
I've become very fond of it, after I decided to patina the bolsters.
I decided to add my Remington, another hard snapping old Barlow. 😊

And a quick thank you to @Sharp & Fiery for the great slip. I started a new job last week operating a laser cutter in production and I've been distracted. Here's the beautiful slip he made to make my bunny knife #471 hoppy!

Congrats on the new job, Josh. Good looking bunny and slip you got there.
Good day ladies and gents.

I’d say those two are more than sufficient, Bob, very nice!!!

Case Knife of the Week is my first Case knife, a brown Delrin Peanut I won in the first GAW I ever entered on The Porch almost 9 years ago (thanks, Cory):

Colonial/Imperial/OldTimer of the Week is an Imperial BSA scout knife (thanks, Rachel):

No pic cause I didn't think of it at the time
But I was watching this really cool YouTube video last night.

Looks like some guys hired some massai blacksmiths to make him a massai spear and shield in the traditional manner

All the man's tools appeared to be hammers, a bolo like machete and a very very worn pocket knife that I finally identified as an okapi (did I spell that right)

Was a very cool video anyways

Harvaster.
Been taking some old plants out & putting in some new plants the wife picked.

Cool plants, Mitch!
Seaweed is a fantastic fertilizer. Very spendy here, being so far from any ovean. During the summer, I often go up to a nearby lake in Wisconsin. The owners of lake houses rake the weeds off of their beaches and pile it up for village to pick up. I just have to get there first. It’s good mulch in the garden, and their ordinances forbib herbicides in the water, so it’s safe to use. Unfortunately,, it lacks the amazing variety of minerals that real seaweed has.
Case pen knife today. No shirt pockets the last couple days so I’ve been using the slip with the pen slot.

Lovely Case pen, Bart.
Getting dressed today, I was loading my pockets, and had a fleeting thought about shirt pockets, and how when tee shirt weather arrives, I may have to adjust.90854B1E-9337-4604-AC0A-6CDB5FDD6C67.jpeg I suspect you’re not old enough to have worry about totin’ reading glasses. 🥺

Going back to a special favorite. 71 reasons why. Thanks Paul :)
The Henckels twins found room in the 5th pocket too

EDIT: and decided to give a Diamond Knot a try on this one. May not make it through the day. Dunno

Nice job on the knot. Get some dried sweat and dirt in there, and it will never unravel. 😎
Wednesday's wood wharncliffe. Leafing through study materials reminded me of the occasional math we had to be able to do if needed. Not difficult, but a large number of formulas to keep track of (7 pages worth in that manual).

Looks hard enough to me! 🫣

Love the pocket chopper, Jack! Roast a whole chicken, and it won’t stand a chance. In the meantime, your sammich is making me hungry.

Good day ladies and gents.

The spirits of pretty wood have smiled on you today.
Have a nice day :)

Very cool knife!
Eight o" Clock coffee is the first brand of coffee I remember my parents using. I get it in Keurig kartridges for the church. For me at the church, that is, not for any riff-raff at the church..
PEFo5vQ.jpg
Any church that has a Kuerig for fellowship time probably doesn’t have worry about riff raff! Last week I had to take the Subaru to the dealer for some recall work ( got four new ignition coils for free!) and the was one of those high falutin’ coffee machines in the waiting room. It took me three tries to get a cup of coffee.
Anyway, I’m glad our new church welcomes riff raff, or I wouldn’t get past the door greeters!
