Thanks zippofan for the great deal on this beautiful classic Tony Bose designed swayback jack in chestnut bone and CV blades. 2011 manufacture, very hard to find, bone is beautiful.

Thought this tip from Tony Bose might be helpful for the gents in this thread:

If you want to wash out a slip joint, swish it around in kerosene with the blade in different positions. It will clean out the dirt and not hurt the handle material. Let it dry for about an hour then oil the joint before turning the blade. I do this with every knife I make.

Fresh in and I must add thanks to dave308ek for kindly forwarding me this gem of Americana after I bought it on the Exchange It was when Queen was on the Cutlery Throne 20 years ago, so I think it appropriate to show it with a Goddess- part of the Knife Pantheon

Fact is, I can't find fault here: no gaps, no play, flush springs open/shut, formidable W&T I feel fortunate to own this piece of desirable Americana, my knife tastes have altered- carry a single blade paired with a Stockman now nearly every day.
