Wow Bob, stunning  :)

You too Gary, we have a 3-day weekend here :)

Very cool Mr P!  I can just see you racing up the slope on your way to rescue Madeline Stowe! :D

Thanks my friend, that sounds like fantastic fun :)

I'm a lucky dog Jeff! :D There are some very nice customs being produced, and the Lambsfoot blade has recently been used on two knives produced with the Napanoch Knife Co stamp :)

I like that combination my friend :)

Thank you my friend, you have a nice-looking pair there yourself :)
Thank you Jack. Enjoy your May bank holiday.🍻

I'm lovin' that skinner, Rob, any idea when it was made? 1970s maybe?

Just the two cranes on the tang and two cranes on the sheath and no other markings Jeff. It could be that late or it might be earlier. I was guessing in the 1950's or 60's last night, when I was cleaning it up and correcting some edge issues. You put me across the big pond and I'm a bit green ...... don't have much literature for the European brands.

The sheath rivets and snaps had heavy patina and some rust on the snap ........ most of the sheath stitching had rotted and was sticking out, so I used a tiny knife blade and tweezers to pull it all out. I might try to stitch it back up myself.

I do really like it though and happy you like it too. 😊

OH ... the drama 😲

Thanks, Paul and Jack, for the nice words about Gidge. These custom lambs could become habit forming (no offense, RALF!).
And Rob, no doubt the skinner pattern you have was in vogue well before the 1970s, and no doubt good stag like on yours became more and more rare the later you got. Maybe someone else will chime in with some info.

Really nice Robeson !

Very nice !
Love the LM Pulse, it's one of my favorites, Locks Up! as we say on another forum 😉

Nice !
Very true, buddy. As much as I like my original Tool, having everything lock when opened is a great safety feature.

You guys are killing me with the fishing pics😉

Even though they’re black, I’m calling it Friends Friday,

Timeless, but, not timeless. It will manage to get a LOT darker over time, but, it is a timeless material. I do love my Cocobolo knives, regardless ........ and yours !;)😍

You’re right about that Mr. P. That’s why I always give it a healthy coating of renwax a few times a year, some more than others depending how often I carry it. This 93 has managed to stay good so far.

And as always, I really enjoy your photos and knives. I need to get on your level one day sir!! 🔥👍

Wow ~ I live that Farmer’s Jack!
From the peachseed bone, I’ll guess Schrade?
Farmer’s Jacks are not all easy to acquire, so congrats for finding that one!
I believe it was purpose designed for grafting and budding, so when GEC named theirs Orchard Gem, it made sense.

If you have’t seen it, this thread has some nice photos and discussion ~
Thanks for the link to the present day 38s, Amir Fleschwund Amir Fleschwund
It is a Schrade…just as I found it. I need to do just a little maintenance on it. The blades are mostly full, but someone kinda botched the last sharpening. I’ll fix it up and post more presentable pics.
I don’t think I’ve seen that thread and will check it out. I’ve got a few to add as well 😉
