I have liked ever Dowell I have seen yet never saw one for sale. Seems like they are a little hard to acquire!

They are. This one popped up here in the classifieds and I swooped it.
His knives are among the nicest I’ve handled. (I’ve not had my hands on a Bose, Hanson, Ryu, Romano yet). His table price is an absolute bargain. Excellent grind, nice walk and talk, great fit and finish.

For a well used 100 year old knife the walk and talk is surprisingly crisp. Took a wonderful edge and I love the size (roughly the same as a 15 pattern)
