What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

That’s quite a pair, Paul.
See, this is why I’m glad this thread is NOT a competition. 🤔

I finally broke down and called my doc. After approving what I’d been doing, he wrote me an rx for an antibioric.
It’s funny how easy and quick it is now to get a “Tele-Med” chat with your doc, post pandemic. Sure beats going in person, and a bit cheaper, too.

Spent yesterday driving T-posts for trellising my pole beans, and put some old chicken manure around my eighty tomato plants. Well, 79. One didn’t make it.
Today, plan to plant green onion seeds diwn the rows if tomatoes. I’ve already relocated my Walla Walla sweet onions and leeks, that I’d started in the greenhouse.
Pleasantly cool for working outside, alrhough we’re on an ozone alert due to those fires in Alberta. Between that, and this cough, I’m just pokin along pacing myself.
Well, you all have a fine day!

Hope you get to feeling better soon. We, rather wife, is on week 2 of it. Has been an almost constant cough coupled with loss of voice.

Wooden Wednesday went well with a wonderful Wayne Walker and the 74

Dang
I kinda fall out for 4-5 days
I got distracted by other hobbies

17 pages! Yeah I ain't gonna catch up on all that lol

No pics
But still rocking my buck 112 slim that just seems to have kicked everything else out of my pockets(at least til winter)

Nice little ride today, back roads and single tracks though the woods.

Road closed down a country lane,I squeezed past hedge on the left road menders fencing on the right, foot got stuck in brambles but I made it 😁

Found a brilliant antique and jumble shop in a 1500 century old house.

Very good coffee in a Portuguese restaurant and pretty Chica's walking by...🤭

Pain in the hand but worth it, there's hope after seeing the Doctor yesterday, she's got the ball rolling for a more exact injection etc.

This is my first GEC and I think possibly the best for my needs, being easy to open, light and with a good grip.
Plus I like it.

Great pics John! I’m curious how many old skid lids do you have hanging around. I know I have several. 🤷

Glad to hear you are back to riding, John!

A Buck 112 with Ebony covers and S30V drop point blade arrived via FEDEX yesterday afternoon. Bunny #525 has already taken a shine to it so, I'll carry both of them to town today. Only a light breakfast this morning - gotta save room for a French Dip at the Brass Rail Restaurant for lunch.

Unless I’m confused, which sadly does happen, this is the second 110 drop point you’ve shown us this week.

I thought of you last evening as I rolled the trash can down the driveway with Manny’s enthusiastic company.
I had to add something this morning, and just happened to be watching when our faithful Sanitation Engineer emptied it. When the raccoon carcass rolled out he never batted an eye. 😅

Thanks Todd :)
The doctor's visit itself went swimmingly  I won't know if things are as OK as they appear to be until the labs come back 🤞

Do you know what's causing the cough, Jeff? I might have missed it 😬
First, best wishes for your scans!
We were around family in Sioux Falls, and am reasonably sure we caught the virus that my wife’s cousins daughter in law and her three little girls had.
With me, no matter the origin, viral, bacterial, or allergy, it usually ends up in my lungs as bacterial. Then, my doc, who knows my history well, kills it with an antibiotic. Like a fool, I waited longer than I should have to call him.

seems like we’re all fallin’ apart around here … hope everyone heals up and gets good test results!
I have a scan scheduled for tomorrow, so for the sake of efficiency, it’ll be these for Wednesday / Thursday carry …

🤕
Best wishes, Frank!
Those two go together very nicely Steve

Good luck to everyone at the docs today, or in the near future  I was in today, and have another appointment Friday! :D Off to the market tomorrow with my big Bexoid Lambsfoot

And good luck with the MD to you as well!

I suspect you have the same affection for Bexoid that that I do for Genuine DuPont Delrin. Not only was it the material used on my knives in the ‘70s, but it’s tough and durable, and affordable, which makes it the Working Man’s working knife.

Not sure you need to carry a knife around with that sharp 'stache.
Well, those tins of mustache wax aren’t going to open themselves, you know.

Hope you get to feeling better soon. We, rather wife, is on week 2 of it. Has been an almost constant cough coupled with loss of voice.
Yeah, it’s quite persistant. 🫤
Give her my best wishes!

Bacterial lung infections are a bitch. Hope the antibiotics knock it out 🤞
