What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Yeah, Sam, I'm jealous too! What do you do for a living?

Today, I've got Duncan's Lloyd toothpick, AGAIN!!! Can't put it down. And my TC Barlow, as a sidekick. :)

I work as a Ranger in a National Park over in the UK. We've been working to restore a badly eroded track for the last two weeks and i was coming back down after sowing seed:)

Sam, a park ranger may be one of my dream jobs. Very cool.

I've been a long time lurker on this thread, never fail to be amazed by some of the acts of generosity I've seen on here. Looking at some of the gorgeous traditionals just makes me want to live in the states even more. So many gorgeous knives by GEC and Case that are reasonably priced in the US, but to try and get hold of them in the UK you have to be prepared to pay double the price after shipping and tax.

Rant over lol.

I will attach some pics tomorrow of my regular edc's, a case peanut and gec #25 sleeveboard. I used to be a dedicated spyderco ukpk man, it did and does everything it needs to perfectly and more!! However it just lacks the soul and character of a carbon bladed traditional, and so the increasingly expensive hobby continues!

Cheers

Kit

Hi Kit, I also live in the UK and struggle to pay for expensive ( by the time it is in the hand ) USA imports, like you i was a Spyderco man but sold them all to feed the addiction to slippies, after a while i realised that i missed my Urban Foliage Green that i believe to be the ideal UK EDC it was by then rarer than hens teeth, i eventually traced a supply to Sears in America it was of course far more than i payed for the original by then, but i sold a few slippies to fund it and after it arrived i dyed the covers a pleasing Chocolate Brown making it less a foliage green and more an earth brown,of course i do not carry it but keep it in case the urge to revert to OHO comes over me again but i can not see that happening anytime soon as i am currently in the throes of GEC stag mania, because as you say they have soul.
Enjoy your new addiction, Regards Bob...

This one should be fine for today. Lately my cutting chores have been office related and this thing is like a razor!
