Kris

I don't remember seeing that last pic in any of your other posts of this knife. That's a well engineered one too. Beautiful!

I took the grandkids to the St. Louis Zoo and the Gateway Arch today, and decided to carry the yella 301.

Sounds like a fun time, Jeff. I had my 301 today also. It's become a regular choice for hot and humid summer days here. The spey blade mod on yours is a good idea. I may have to do that with mine.

Thanks, Dan. I really lowered the spine on the sheepfoot, too, making it more grip friendly when using the clip.
With the nick on the pile side, it didn't impact the pull at all. I may even take a little more off the kick.

Did you get into the Arch with your knife? When I lived there I took a friend who was visiting, sometime around 2007-2008, and I had to leave and go hide my SAK Executive in a bush out there in the park because they wouldn't let me bring it in.

Yep. They restrict to 4" or less and no spring assist. The 3-7/8" slipjoint was good to go (why I brought this one).
