What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I’d like to say I was able to find a couple of good old knives but nothing really peaked my interest. There were some fairly nice Case knives but they were pretty high. I did find this old pack and frame I brought home. The idea is to do something with either a bear or deer hide strapped to it, perhaps and old knife and hatchet in a sheath. Added the knife since that’s what I dropped in my pocket when I got home.

Excellent find! It’s always good to be prepared! As an Eagle Scout I don’t go back this far, but close.

My wife and kids and I took the train to Oakland today to watch the Angels play the A’s. Unfortunately the Angels lost but it was a fun day. I dropped the 25 in my pocket when we got home.

Enjoying a sub 100 deg day in AZ. This 73 joined me on a dove hunt this morning. Dog was a little rusty, but we had a great time. Now it's coffee roasting time. Coffee is Costa Rica Tarrazu El Rinconsito Black Honey.
