Welcome back, Stuart! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:
The quality of the knives you post seems not to have diminished while you were away!

Good to see you here again, Randy! :cool::thumbsup::cool:
I picked up a Chinese version of the 5OT at Tractor Supply last spring and I've been very impressed with it - ideal size and first-class locking action.

Splendid Lockwood Bros. pair, Bob! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:

I know nothing about fixed blade knives, LT, but that stag Loveless is sure a handsome example! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

The Capuchin is a tough guy knife. It will be fine in its purse.

That's a memorable Curel, José; wonderful covers! :cool::thumbsup::cool:

I had to skip many pages but will go back when I can.
Hope all are well. I was in at 7am and in car at 11am.
Off to therapy and hope all have a good weekend.
Will not be doing much cutting.View attachment 2353685
Hip Hip Hooray, Bob! :thumbsup::thumbsup:🤓
Glad the surgery went well, and I pray that you'll have a fast and smooth recovery. Did the surgeon guarantee that no modifications will be needed for your golf swing?

Both are lovely !
Thanks, Steve. :)

Both knife handle and "tree" are definitely spooky. :thumbsup:🤓:cool:
Have you ever carved your own jigging on a knife with smooth wood covers?

Titusville Lil Man Jack showed up and after a little mineral oil, went right in the pocket.

Superb stag stockman, Dan! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:

Today, a Sodbuster Jr. inspired by it's what I mostly carry these days (maybe initially inspired by @Modoc ED and his famous Patch knife) and a tiny Camillus rope knife, inspired by @r8shell posting hers yesterday.

Thanks kindly Gary.

The only guarantee I received, was to be on the course in two months.🤔
Perhaps I can get him to cover my loses for awhile.😃

I pretty much struck out today. I caught one tiny 6 inch Chinook salmon. Mostly for rainbows. I will troll a wedding ring or a wiggle Hoochie. Today I tried both of those along with several other things and nothing was happening. This is the problem with this lake, I don’t quite have them figured out once the temperature drops And fall sets in. I did have a couple of pretty good hits, but I think it was something more like my gear ran right past them and just irritated them enough to just snap at it. But it was still a nice day to be out on the water.

It’s the lake turnover time happening now. Cold water rises and the warm water sinks. This brings the cold water fish right up near the top, following the cold water column rising, you’ll find them in the coldest temps right around 10’ down. It’s amazing how you can catch them so shallow this time of year. Try setting your trolling depth to 5-7 foot and see what happens. Good luck👍

Yup, I ran at the surface to about 25 feet deep and everywhere in between. I think they recognized my boat and Realized the great fish slayer is back and they all swam off to hide;)
